• Foundation and Location

  Approved RV was founded by Tom Hallman and is based in Thousand Oaks, CA.

• Tom's RV Journey

  Tom has been camping since he was a boy, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He bought his first used camper over 20 years ago and has been RV-ing ever since. He understands not only the joy of RVing but also the stress when things don’t work as they should, especially when far from home. His goal is to give back to the RV community by providing exceptional service at fair prices.

• Professional Background

  After a long and successful career in the aerospace and technology industries, servicing the Department of Defense, their prime contractors, and Hollywood studios, Tom now brings his professionalism, training, and attention to detail to RV inspections.

• Certifications and Incorporation

  Tom is certified as an RV Inspector by the National Recreational Vehicle Inspectors Association and registered as an RV technician by the National RV Training Academy. Approved RV is incorporated in the State of California and is fully insured.
